In Pikkala FMC Engineering drafted the detailed design for the air treatment system to make the degassing of transoceanic cables happen. The work showed to be an exciting challenge: specific installations were designed in order to allow the expulsion of methane gas molecules from the rubber membranes that surround the cables cyclically.
