Seismic Risk Assessment of Petronas Lubricants Industrial Plant in Naples

FMC Engineering carried out the seismic assessment of Petronas Lubricants Plant in Naples. All the works were con-ducted together with the Department of Structural Engineering (DIST) of the “Federico II University”. Given the enti-ty of the intervention and the significant number of destructive and non-destructive tests requested, a detailed investigation plan was carried out under the continuous supervision of FMC managers. Non-linear analyses also were performed in order to determine the seismic risk coeffcient concerning a structure made of concrete with a brick vault spanning 30 meters.
